The Missing Link is an association that fights food waste and food insecurity. Every day, our volunteers collect fresh, highly perishable food surpluses from food professionals (collective kitchens, catering services, canteens, markets, etc.) using refrigerated vans, then redistribute them immediately to nearby solidarity organizations (community restaurants and food pantries, shelters and reception centers, etc.). Since 2014, over 1,000 tons of food have been saved from the trash and redistributed to those who need them right away!
