Agir au quotidien pour les personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson et leurs proches. France Parkinson a été créée en 1984 par le Professeur Yves Agid, neurologue à l’Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière. C’est une association reconnue d’utilité publique depuis 1988. Ses missions : Soutenir et accompagner les personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson et leurs proches Informer et former sur la maladie, les traitements et les aides Sensibilise l’opinion et interpeler les médias Mobiliser les pouvoirs publics Financer, encourager et faciliter la recherche L’association dispose de l’agrément de représentant des usagers du système de santé depuis 2009. Elle compte plus de 80 comités départementaux avec 650 bénévoles qui œuvrent au quotidien pour les personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson et leurs proches.
