Benevole.com is a non-profit association making volunteering accessible to everyone. We aggregate and publish — free and ad-free — the missions available in France via the French State's API Engagement.

Every act of volunteering, however small, contributes to a more caring society. Our role: making it easier to find and to do.
Accessibility & inclusion
Finding a mission should be simple and open to all, with no registration. We pay particular attention to under-served audiences: seniors, English speakers, and people with disabilities.

Benevole.com is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) with disinterested management: a free, ad-free service that takes no commission.
Transparency
Our missions come from the State's API Engagement — verified and up to date. We store no personal data about visitors.
Our story
A Franco-American who has lived in France for over 25 years, I am returning to a project born in the early 2000s with my wife, Stéphanie: making volunteering opportunities easy to access for everyone and encouraging community engagement.
At the time, the available technology and our means didn't allow us to realize that ambition. The project lay dormant for many years.
Today, it is reborn. Thanks to the integration of the French State's API Engagement, anyone can now access more than 18,000 volunteering missions in a few clicks and find the one that matches their interests, skills and availability.
The project has now taken a new step: benevole.com is now a non-profit association under the French law of 1 July 1901. Free, ad-free and with disinterested management, the association is built to last and works in the public interest (RNA W751286319).
Drawing on my experience in the non-profit world, I want to go further — notably by building dedicated spaces for people looking to get involved in non-profit projects, and for people with disabilities.
Digital accessibility is at the heart of this effort. Our ambition: to make benevole.com one of the most accessible and inclusive volunteering platforms in France.
