Chain of Hope is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen healthcare systems to give everyone, and particularly children, equal chances for survival and development. Helping the most marginalized children is more than a moral obligation; it is an essential condition for achieving the United Nations' 2030 objectives for child health and well-being. Chain of Hope works in 27 countries through a comprehensive, child-centered approach that also addresses mothers and disadvantaged communities: • Prevention and screening from an early age, particularly through school health programs • Care and surgery to respond to the most urgent needs of children and their mothers • Training and skills transfer to local teams through our international network of experts in all surgical fields • Construction and equipping of hospital facilities adapted to local needs
