SOS Amitié Paris Ile de France

Founded in 1961, S.O.S Amitié, recognized as being in the public interest, is a listening service open to everyone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by telephone, chat and messaging. The Île-de-France association, which originated S.O.S Amitié, participates in this support network with its 370 volunteers and autonomous organization. S.O.S Amitié's primary objective is suicide prevention through telephone listening, available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Through their generalist listening approach, the association's volunteers also combat isolation, loneliness, distress and depression. Today, S.O.S Amitié Paris Île-de-France has over 360 volunteer listeners who work in shifts 24 hours a day across 8 listening centers in the Paris region.
