Mission description

Listen to people by phone, chat, and messaging with a person-centered approach, respecting anonymity and confidentiality. We provide free training to volunteers after discussing and assessing their motivations. Training combines theory and practice. Volunteers then commit to a variable number of listening hours depending on their employment status. You attend monthly supervision sessions led by a psychologist. Additional ongoing training and peer support are also available. Being a listener means listening with kindness in shared anonymity, connecting with the caller, and helping them feel relief.
