Founded in 2012 at Orange's initiative, in partnership with the Ministries of National Education and Higher Education, Capital Filles works for equal opportunities and gender equality. The association supports young women from priority neighborhoods in cities and rural areas, helping them build confidence, refine their career choices, and discover future-oriented fields that remain largely male-dominated. Labeled "1 Young Person, 1 Mentor," the association operates across 25 academic districts in mainland France and in Réunion. Since its founding, Capital Filles has mentored over 16,000 high school and university students and welcomed nearly 60,000 students in collective awareness workshops on the impact of gender stereotypes organized in its partner high schools.
