We're seeking a volunteer passionate about painting and restoration to protect our boat's hull and restore it to its former beauty. Your painting and surface preparation expertise is essential for durability and aesthetics. You'll prepare surfaces (sanding, stripping, masking) for optimal paint adherence, apply marine-specific paints and varnishes to hull, deck, and interior, ensure careful and lasting finishing work, and guide novice volunteers in painting and wood protection techniques. Work is needed seasonally, often during quiet periods from September to March.
