LIRE & SOURIRE works daily to combat senior isolation in nursing homes through reading. If you enjoy reading, listening, and exchanging, join us to lead reading and discussion moments with residents individually or in groups. Minimum 1-year commitment with regular attendance is required to build trust with residents. Frequency: twice monthly, Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM at partner facilities within 30 minutes of your home. Prepare and read texts (articles, short stories, poems, book excerpts) to spark exchange and discussion.
