Our Association is independent of any political, ideological, or religious reference. Our volunteers, aged at least 27, must have significant availability to staff our weekday shifts. They are trained in Rogerian listening—at the start and regularly—and are neither psychologists, psychology students, nor psychotherapists. Rogerian listening allows anyone experiencing loneliness, distress, or difficulties to meet someone to talk to without judgment, with anonymity and confidentiality guaranteed. Each volunteer commits to ensuring one shift per week. We are open Monday to Friday from 2 to 6 PM.
