I offer free face-to-face listening support to anyone in psychological or emotional distress

Mission description

Our association is independent of any political, ideological, or religious affiliation. Volunteers, minimum age 40, must have significant availability to staff weekday sessions. They are trained in Rogerian listening—initially and regularly—and are neither psychologists, psychology students, nor psychotherapists. Rogerian listening allows people going through loneliness, confusion, or difficulties to meet someone to talk to without judgment, in anonymity and confidentiality. Each volunteer must commit to one session per week. We're open Monday-Friday and Saturday.
