Mission description

This mentoring mission aims to promote the autonomy and development of the person being supported by setting evolving objectives adapted to their specific needs. You will join and enrich the CLAS team, with opportunities for training and team-building activities. Your mission includes providing methodological help with homework, motivating them to persevere in school, introducing them to educational and cultural resources, and helping them access online courses and communicate with teachers if needed.

Le Centre social et culturel Victor Schoelcher est géré par une association loi 1901, l’ Association du Centre social et culturel Victor Schoelcher. Elle se veut foyer d’initiatives portées par les habitants, appuyés par des professionnels capables de mettre en œuvre un projet de développement social. L’association des bénévoles et des salariés est au cœur de la définition même du Centre Social. L’action s’enracine dans l’expérience vécue des habitants, « faire avec » invite chacun à agir avec les autres, à créer des interactions entre générations, entre groupes sociaux … Dans cette droite ligne, le projet de notre association participe au développement social local du quartier de Cronenbourg. Le projet social est élaboré avec les habitants, concerté avec les partenaires et se réfère bien entendu aux caractéristiques du territoire.
