The Victor Schoelcher Social and Cultural Center is managed by an association governed by the French law of 1901, the Association of the Victor Schoelcher Social and Cultural Center. It aims to be a hub for initiatives driven by residents, supported by professionals capable of implementing a social development project. The partnership of volunteers and paid staff lies at the very heart of the Social Center's definition. The action is rooted in the lived experience of residents; "working with" invites everyone to act alongside others, to create interactions between generations, between social groups, and so on. In keeping with this approach, our association's project contributes to the local social development of the Cronenbourg district. The social project is developed with residents, coordinated with partners, and naturally takes into account the specific characteristics of the territory.
