Mission description

Support a high school senior or first-year university student in building their future plans. Share your career and professional journey in collective workshops at partner high schools. Open your workplace to your mentee: discover the working world, learn its codes, learn about future careers, and get orientation help with university applications. Encourage and support your mentee in building their future. Help with CV and cover letter writing and apprenticeship contract searches. Commitment begins in September: about 2 hours per month for individual mentoring and 2-hour collective workshops.

Capital Filles

Créée en 2012 à l’initiative d’Orange, en partenariat avec les ministères de l’Éducation nationale et de l’Enseignement supérieur, Capital Filles agit pour l’égalité des chances et l’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes. L’association accompagne les jeunes femmes des quartiers prioritaires de la ville et des territoires ruraux pour les aider à gagner en confiance, affiner leurs choix d’orientation et découvrir les filières d’avenir, encore largement masculines. Labellisée « 1 jeune, 1 mentor », l’association se déploie dans les 25 académies hexagonales et à La Réunion. Depuis sa création, Capital Filles a accompagné plus de 16 000 lycéennes et étudiantes en mentorat et accueilli près de 60 000 élèves lors d’ateliers collectifs de sensibilisation à l’impact des stéréotypes de genre organisés dans ses lycées partenaires.
