In rural areas, not everyone has transportation. As a volunteer driver, use your personal vehicle to transport isolated people, giving them access to services (health, shops, post office, etc.). These trips are also opportunities to chat and connect. You're free to refuse trips based on your schedule, receive a mileage allowance (€0.47/km), benefit from Familles Rurales insurance, and can attend volunteer training.
