A solidarity canteen called 'la pause solidaire' opened near Ajaccio station over a year ago. Created by CLE (Exclusion Prevention Coordination), a coalition of associations, it's run by four organizations: Red Cross, Popular Relief, Catholic Relief and Restos du Cœur. The project aims to serve fresh, quality, balanced meals like home cooking to people in precarious situations who normally lack access to such services. Currently, only Popular Relief operates with one evening session per week. Our goal is to open a Catholic Relief slot in autumn 2026.
