The Read and Make Read program invites volunteers to share the joy of reading with children. As a volunteer, you'll read stories to small groups of children in schools. The goal is simple: foster a love of reading, encourage intergenerational connection, and contribute to children's cultural development. You'll read picture books to groups of 2-6 children, discuss the stories with them, and share a calm, friendly moment around books. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes and occur once weekly, coordinated by the Ligue de l'enseignement du Gers.
