The Read and Share initiative invites volunteers to share the pleasure of reading with children in schools. As a volunteer, you will read picture books to small groups of children (2-6), discuss the stories with them, and create a calm, friendly moment around books. Reading sessions typically last 20-30 minutes and occur once weekly. This transmits the joy of reading, promotes intergenerational bonds, and contributes to children's cultural development.
