I participate in the "Reading and Sharing Books" program with children
Ligue de l'Enseignement du GersMission description
Created in 1999 by writer Alexandre Jardin, Reading and Sharing Books is a national program promoting literacy and intergenerational solidarity. The goal is to share a love of reading and books. Senior volunteers work in various child care facilities with small groups aged 0-12, during school hours or before/after school, intervening once weekly for recreational reading sessions. Structures include schools, nurseries, libraries, and leisure centers. Join us to champion intergenerational connection and transmit the joy of reading and books.
