Place au Vélo is a non-profit association established in 1994. It serves cyclists in Laval and its metropolitan area. The objectives of Place au Vélo are: - To promote and facilitate the use of bicycles as a means of travel and transport within the Laval-Agglo area - To represent urban cyclists and propose infrastructure improvements - To raise awareness among the general public and elected officials about bicycles as an effective means of transport and more broadly to promote active mobility, including walking and public transportation - To represent urban and recreational cyclists to elected officials and to be a source of proposals for cycling infrastructure improvements.
