Mission description

Working with our association members, especially the Board, you'll contribute to developing internal and external communications for Place au Vélo, which promotes cycling for daily commuting in Laval and its region. Our fast-growing association (over 600 members) needs time to effectively communicate and highlight its numerous varied actions. Volunteers focused on daily activities often lack the time, desire, or skills to create attractive content (written, visual, or audio), publish it, and promote it across our various channels.

Place au Vélo - Laval

Place au vélo est une association loi 1901, créée en 1994. Elle est au service des cyclistes de Laval et de son agglomération. Les objectifs de Place au Vélo : - Promouvoir et faciliter l’usage du vélo comme moyen de déplacement, de transport, dans le périmètre de Laval-Agglo - Représenter les cyclistes urbains et faire des propositions d’aménagements - Sensibiliser la population et les élus au vélo comme moyen de transport efficace et plus généralement promouvoir les modes doux, incluant la marche à pied et les transports en commun - Représenter les cyclistes urbains et de loisirs auprès des élus et être force de proposition auprès de ces derniers sur les aménagements cyclables.
