Founded in 1974, ECTI is the first French association dedicated to skills-based volunteering for active retirees. Initially focused on international cooperation, the association has expanded its scope to support French businesses, local authorities, education, and social and solidarity-based economy both in France and internationally. ECTI has been recognized as a Public Utility Organization since 1990. It thereby meets the criteria of general interest, national impact, democratic governance, and financial stability.
