The Read and Make Reading program invites volunteers aged 50 and over to share the pleasure of reading with children. You will read stories to small groups of children in schools, daycare centers, libraries or recreation centers in Val-de-Marne. The goals are simple: share the love of reading, foster intergenerational connection and support children's cultural development. The volunteer reads picture books to a small group, discusses the story with them, and participates in a calm, friendly moment around the book. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes and occur once weekly.
