Mission description

You will provide French language (FLE) courses to people seeking asylum. By teaching French as a foreign language, you concretely help people integrate into their new environment, feel welcomed and supported, and gain everyday autonomy. You participate effectively in French language learning while experiencing enriching human contact. Working with an FLE coordinator, you teach courses in the association's facilities with structured support: teamwork with other volunteers, regular meetings for guidance, and training in pedagogy and awareness of migrant issues.

Diaconat Protestant Drôme Ardèche

Créé en 1907, le Diaconat Protestant Drôme Ardèche est reconnu d’utilité publique depuis 1922. Il agit chaque jour auprès des personnes les plus fragiles, sans distinction. Ancré dans des valeurs protestantes et humanistes, il œuvre dans le respect de la laïcité, avec une vision solidaire de la société. Le Diaconat Protestant rassemble aujourd’hui 320 salarié·es et 200 bénévoles au service des personnes les plus fragiles. Devenue l’un des principaux acteurs de la solidarité sur les territoires de l’Ardèche et de la Drôme, l’association vient chaque année en aide à plus de 8000 personnes. Elle est reconnue d’utilité publique depuis 1922.
