Founded in 1907, the Protestant Diaconate of Drôme Ardèche has been recognized as serving the public interest since 1922. It works every day with the most vulnerable people, without discrimination. Rooted in Protestant and humanistic values, it operates with respect for secularism and a vision of solidarity in society. The Protestant Diaconate now brings together 320 employees and 200 volunteers in service to the most vulnerable people. Having become one of the leading solidarity actors in the Ardèche and Drôme regions, the association helps over 8,000 people each year. It has been recognized as serving the public interest since 1922.
