I manage a local branch to support visually impaired people

Mission description

The Valentin Haüy Committee of Eure-et-Loir, based in Chartres/Mainvilliers, brings the Association's services to the field across the entire department. Following the departure of the current lead, we are seeking a volunteer to manage our Dreux branch. Your main responsibilities include: managing the branch by raising awareness and representing the committee to institutions and organizations concerned with visual impairment (town halls, regional associations, hospitals, social services, opticians, ophthalmologists, occupational therapists, other associations, etc.); welcoming visually impaired people to advise, guide, and inform them of their rights; communicating about available specialized equipment; and organizing meetings.
