I become an interpreter for asylum seekers and/or refugees
France terre d'asile - CADA d'AngersMission description
A significant part of the public welcomed by France terre d'asile doesn't speak or speaks little French. Volunteers with language skills support our social workers through translation activities to facilitate communication with the people we assist. Volunteer interpreters can intervene in-person in Angers during school meetings, information sessions and workshops offered by the CADA to ensure good understanding of exchanges for the people we support. An information meeting is offered the first Wednesday of each month at 4pm in our offices with two volunteer coordinators.
