
I discover hedgelaying and pollard pruning on bocage hedgerows

As part of sustainable management of Montchevillon farm's bocage hedgerows, this mission offers a demonstration followed by hands-on practice of traditional maintenance techniques. Participants will discover hedgelaying, a method of weaving branches to create a dense and functional living hedge, and pollard pruning, which extends tree lifespan while promoting biodiversity. Guided by professionals, volunteers can learn these skills and actively contribute to preserving landscapes and natural habitats. From 9:30am to 12:00pm. Please wear walking shoes.
