I offer time, listening, and presence to people at end of life

Mission description

The Passage association invites volunteers to accompany people at end of life or with serious illness, so they are not alone during this stage of their existence. The role involves offering human presence: listening, conversing, reading, sharing moments, or supporting loved ones. This is relational support complementary to healthcare workers, not medical care or material aid. Interventions take place in healthcare facilities or nursing homes, with respect for the person, their beliefs, and confidentiality. Mandatory initial training and ongoing support are provided.
