Mission description

Working with our association's staff and volunteers, I will help with regional and local communication in our communities: Besançon, Belfort, Pontarlier, Haute-Saône, Jura. La Pive aims to boost short-supply-chain economies and strengthen community bonds. By giving meaning to local purchases, the local currency supports a transition to a more sustainable society. Over 200,000 Pives currently circulate in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Help us amplify the positive impact of local currency in your area!

LA PIVE

L'Association La Pive est un projet citoyen qui a permis de mettre en lumière un outil de mobilisation en faveur du développement local. La Pive est une monnaie complémentaire et citoyenne et est utilisée, en complément de l'euro, pour renforcer les liens économiques mais également les liens entre les gens au sein de leur territoire. En recentrant la monnaie sur sa fonction originelle d’échange, la Pive permet de redonner aux citoyens du pouvoir d’agir, de dynamiser l’économie comtoise, de redonner du sens aux actes d'achat en soutenant la transition vers un nouveau modèle de société plus durable. La monnaie Pive existe sous forme papier et numérique avec l’application App’Pive. Aujourd'hui la Pive c'est environ 800 particuliers adhérents, 330 commerces, entreprises et association qui soutiennent le projet et font circuler près de 200 000 pives en Franche-Comté.
