I co-lead a world cuisine cooking workshop with seniors in community centers

Mission description

Weekly Friday morning cooking workshops at community centers bring about 12 seniors together for world recipes and a shared meal. As a volunteer facilitator, you'll help participants prepare the menu and create a welcoming atmosphere alongside staff members. Before the workshop, you'll help transport materials and review recipes. During the workshop, you'll arrive early, prepare the space and kitchen, welcome participants, assist groups with cooking, and help serve the meal.
