The Every Story Really Counts (ESRC) project invites high school students to write the life story of an elderly resident in a nursing home. Each week, the student visits the elderly person, collecting their stories, memories and anecdotes they want to share. ESRC organizes meetings, pairs young people with elderly residents and schedules weekly appointments. The team also provides training for high school students on connecting, brain function and writing (2 modules of approximately 2 hours each). Throughout the year, ESRC supports students with meetings every three weeks to ensure visits go smoothly and guide them in writing life stories. Finally, ESRC ensures
