LE CHEMIN DE PIERREMission description
ESCALE is a day center and respite care for autistic adults with intellectual disabilities. The volunteer mission is to help autistic individuals socialize, emerge from isolation, enjoy community living, and build friendships. You will always work in a team of six: two ESCALE coordinators, an art therapist, and two volunteers accompanying six people. As a volunteer, you bring an outside perspective and give meaning to the spirit of conviviality. Sessions are 3 hours, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, flexible based on availability, weekly or bi-weekly.
