Mission description

In moments of fragility, a visit, words, or simply presence can bring comfort. Les Petits Frères des Pauvres seeks volunteers to support people over 50 who are isolated and facing serious illness or end of life. Your mission is to provide regular presence, offer compassionate listening and genuine human connection, and help break isolation while preserving dignity. This volunteer work in palliative care is guided by core values of the movement. No medical skills are required—only availability, listening skills, and compassion.
