I help integrate exiled people by creating volunteer/asylum seeker pairs for cultural outings

Mission description

To support migrants' social and cultural integration, Pari(s) à 2 creates pairs between volunteers and asylum seekers. Volunteers are trained by the association in the program process. A cycle of meetings lasts about 3 months (every 15 days for half-days). Activities are decided jointly—museums, walks, opera or simply coffee are possibilities to understand French life while discovering each other. Why this project? Because there are increasingly more asylum seekers, processing time for applications is increasing, social and cultural integration is a fundamental right, and few initiatives exist for sociocultural integration.
