Mission description

Goal: One DDEN in every school in the SAINT RÉMY DE PROVENCE district. DDENs (Departmental Delegates for National Education) have been linked to public education since 1793. Many laws have established and evolved this official role, including the Guizot Laws (1833), Falloux Law (1850), and Goblet Law (1886). These laws were consolidated into the Education Code in 2000. Our legitimacy lies in promoting public education and respecting the constitutional principle of secularism. Any French citizen over 25 can become a DDEN.

DDEN-13 regroupe et fédère les Délégués Départementaux de l'Education Nationale des Bouches du Rhône. L'association est une composante de la Fédération Nationale des DDEN : Association reconnue d'utilité publique - Association éducative complémentaire de l'Enseignement public (agrément ministériel) - Association nationale de Jeunesse et d'Éducation populaire - Association ambassadrice de la Réserve citoyenne de l'Éducation nationale. La Fédération regroupe plus de 90% des DDEN du territoire national. Être Délégué Départemental de l'Education Nationale est un acte citoyen, c'est être un bénévole en mission officielle, au service de l'école publique, des enfants et de la République. Entre l'école, la commune et les familles, les DDEN jouent un rôle essentiel de médiateurs. Par leur indépendance et leur neutralité, leur écoute et leur disponibilité, ils aident à prévenir ou apaiser les situations conflictuelles. Les DDEN agissent toujours dans un esprit de coopération, dans le respect de chacun et des valeurs de l'école publique et de la laïcité.
