Welcome shifts are the core of Maison Bleue's reception system. They're essential because they allow meeting people seeking housing, understanding their situations, needs, and constraints. This first exchange creates necessary trust for the journey. Volunteers play a key role: they conduct interviews, evaluate situations, gather necessary information, and provide initial listening and guidance. Without them, handling this many requests would be impossible. Volunteering allows concrete help, skill development, meeting people, and giving hope.
