I support an asylum seeker or refugee with JRS Welcome

Mission description

Have significant impact: becoming a companion with JRS Welcome means making an immediate, concrete difference in a displaced person's integration. It's first and foremost an enriching human encounter and experience. In a group of about twenty companions, supported and trained, you'll accompany an asylum seeker during their 6-month host family stay. As a companion, you'll meet with them weekly in person or by phone, based on availability. These regular meetings allow you to connect with them in complete goodwill, helping them integrate into their new environment.
