I create social connections with people experiencing poverty, elderly individuals, or people with disabilities

Mission description

I promote autonomy and development of the person I support by establishing evolving goals adapted to their specific needs. Volunteers receive training and support throughout their engagement. I create meaningful connections—either remotely or in person—with elderly people, those with disabilities, or those in precarious situations suffering from loneliness and isolation. This can take the form of phone conversations, tea or coffee chats, board games, walks, or other shared activities based on mutual interests. Visit frequency is determined freely by you and the person you're supporting.
