Mission description

As illness or end-of-life can isolate people, volunteer support contributes to quality of life for patients and loved ones through listening, sharing, and reducing suffering. This is a regular, long-term commitment of at least one year, working with a volunteer team in hospitals, care facilities, or homes, always in close contact with medical staff. Supporting people in palliative care requires listening skills, attention, and kindness.
