Mission description

Do you enjoy taking things apart, repairing, and understanding how they work? Are you comfortable with a screwdriver, pliers, soldering iron, needle, glue, or hammer? Join a community Repair Café and put your talents to good use! As a volunteer, you'll welcome people with broken appliances or items, diagnose and repair them where possible (small electrical appliances, lamps, vacuums, etc.), and enjoy the satisfaction of repairing instead of throwing away while making new connections and sharing knowledge with others.
