REPAIR CAFÉ VITROLLES

The Vitrolles Repair Café is a mutual aid association centered on repairing objects. It is a place where residents find people and equipment to help repair their broken or damaged everyday items for free over coffee or tea. People bring items in poor condition to the repair café: toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothing, bicycles, toys, dishes... anything that no longer works is welcome and may have a chance at a second life. ————————————— Being a volunteer at the repair café means: • Learning how to repair everyday objects • Sharing your skills and expertise • Contributing to waste reduction • Taking concrete action to preserve natural resources and avoid unnecessary pollution • Building community in a friendly atmosphere No need to be an expert Being a bit handy is a plus, but we are also looking for: • Patient hands to help mend socks, sew clothes... • Friendly people to welcome the public Come as you are, with your talents and/or your curiosity and good cheer!
