Mission description

La Petite Cantine de Vieux Lyon is a participatory restaurant based on three pillars: participatory (we cook, eat, and clean together by registration), pay-what-you-wish pricing based on means and appreciation, and sustainable food sourced mostly from unsold items and local producers. We use cooking and meals as a way to meet and exchange. The restaurant relies heavily on volunteers including daily hosts who manage service, welcome participants, and oversee the kitchen.
