DDENs are volunteer delegates for national education, partners of public schools, guided by ideals of justice, equality, and brotherhood. Since 1886, our history is linked to public education. Standing between administration, education staff, municipalities, and parents, DDENs are a complementary component of school councils. This official role has both official and operational missions. Our independence gives us a necessary role of mediation and coordination between teachers, parents, municipalities, and academic services.
