I welcome an asylum seeker or refugee into my home, with the support of an experienced association
JRS WELCOME ORLEANSMission description
The JRS Welcome program offers to host an asylum seeker or refugee left homeless, free of charge and for a limited period (4 to 6 weeks). Individuals are housed within a network of families, shared accommodations, or single people for a maximum duration of nine months to one year. Welcoming an exiled person offers them a respite period during a difficult journey and allows them to gradually integrate into our society by becoming familiar with our way of life. It also enables them to advance their administrative procedures calmly and make multiple connections to facilitate their integration in France.
