Mission description

Facilitate negotiations between parties—plaintiff and defendant—to reach settlement agreements. Justice Conciliators are volunteers serving the public with empathy and compassion, skilled at listening and facilitating negotiation while drafting settlement statements that, once approved, become enforceable judgments. Legal knowledge and communication skills required. Work independently within an assigned area approximately 3.5 days per month.
