I'm looking for attentive volunteer listeners

Mission description

Welcome and support families of inmates during visits to the visitation room at Grasse Prison (06), with respect for confidentiality and empathy. The association supports families during these difficult times by listening to them, helping them, and directing them to other social, penitentiary, or legal partners if needed. We help preserve the parental bond with the incarcerated parent through occasional assistance with housing and transportation. This support maintains family balance and prepares for the inmate's successful reintegration. Preventing recidivism depends greatly on this bond. Volunteers offer listening support based on their availability, typically a half-day once or twice per week.
