Working with freelance educators, volunteers will supervise a group of 6 children with disabilities, focusing on one to two children during "respite family" time. These sessions support families needing care for their disabled or struggling children with limited resources. Children are welcomed at our Hippodrome location every MONDAY and THURSDAY from 9 AM-12 PM. You'll participate in fun, creative, and artistic activities (games, workshops) and occasionally lead outings. A sensitivity session on supporting children with disabilities is provided.
