I coordinate secondary school participation in the 'Every Story Counts Truly' project

Mission description

The project invites high school students to write life stories of elderly nursing home residents. Weekly, students visit residents, collecting histories, memories, and anecdotes. The organization arranges meetings, forms mentor-elder pairs, and schedules visits. Teams train students on dialogue, cognition, and life narrative writing (two 2-hour modules). Throughout the year, the organization holds meetings every three weeks to ensure positive visits and support story writing.
