As a volunteer driver, I use my personal vehicle to transport isolated people, giving them access to services like healthcare, stores, and administration. These trips are also opportunities to chat and connect. I can refuse trips based on my availability and receive a mileage allowance of €0.47/km plus insurance coverage.
