I visit isolated elderly people at home

Mission description

Our mission recreates social connections between elderly people and the broader population, encourages their expression and social/cultural engagement, and helps slow loss of independence. We coordinate friendly home visits in Mirebeau. Visits occur weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on preferences. Activities include conversations, walks, board games, cooking, crafts, and cultural outings. We ensure regular follow-up of visitor-resident pairs and organize regular meetings with network volunteers.
